The LR23 battery is a dry cell type battery used primarily in radio-controlled electronic key fobs such as keyless entry systems, home security systems, garage door openers and Bluetooth headsets. An LR23 battery is cylindrical, smaller than a AAA battery, measuring 28.5mm long and 10.3mm in diameter, with a typical weight of 8 grams.
